Premiere: UNA – Noise of the Wing: An Apology for Annoyance LP

UNA-Noise-of-the-Wing

In 2016 we introduced you to UNA, an emerging Los Angeles-based electronic four-piece, after they dropped their Hiss for the Fly: A Common Apocalyptic Survival Guide EP on Cool Jewel Records.

Tomorrow the duo — Richard Larsen (keyboards, guitar, mandocello), Jennifer Nice (singer), Scott Eric Olivier (synths, guitar, drums) and Eddie Barajas (turntables, whistle) — release a full-length album, Noise of the Wing: An Apology for Annoyance, which you can stream exclusively in its entirety below.

The foursome had this to say album their inspiration for the LP: “We were inspired by the ubiquity of the fly. The fly is all around, gets in your face, buzzes your ears, so we thought we were a bit like them. Also we got comments from a couple of college radio stations who said we had an odd use of noise. We agree. We do.”

Listen below and enjoy!
