Earlier this year Martin Gretschmann (a.k.a. Acid Pauli) presented his transformative sophomore album, BLD. It was released on Ouïe, the label he co-runs with Nico Stojan. The eight-track collection is a smorgasbord of eclectic dance floor styles woven together with quixotic grooves and sinewy rhythms, blurring musical styles and freely drawing outside the lines.
On November 17 Ouïe will present the BLD Remixes A, a four-track set of remixes from Gretschmann’s masterful full-length. We’re pleased to world premiere Nico Stojan’s blissful remix of “Majid.”
Over the trajectory of seven amazing spaced-out minutes, Stojan patiently crafts a moody, minimal interpretation that’s truly something to behold.
