Willaris. K 5 Tracks of the Moment

Willaris. K

Rising Australian DJ/producer Jack McAllister — who is more widely known as Willaris. K — continues to come into his own and mature as an artist. A former electrician, his compelling, often emotional sound runs the gamut from low-slung house to undulating electronica. And let’s not forget his interest in techno and field recordings.

After exploring ambient music on his LUSTRE EP, McAllister continues his artistic evolution with his uptempo new jam, “Chapel” featuring rapper WaveIQ.

The energetic, fist-pumping track is featured on the four-track Full Noise EP out July 17 featuring collabs with Paul Mac and George Nicholas (of Seekae).

Fresh from dropping a remix of Flume featuring Toro y Moi, McAllister shares his five tracks of the moment with us.

Jayda G – Both Of Us

This song feels so good. Feels like a light at the end of the tunnel. Pretty sure Fred Again worked on this too, and that Headie One collab album is one of my favs of the year.

Rival Consoles – Articulation

Rival Consoles have always been so inspiring for me. One of the few artists in electronic music where you can recognize who it is instantly. Very unique. That breakdown fucks me up in a good way.

The 1975 – Yeah I Know

This shit is crazy! Would love to hear a full album like this from them.

Vladimir Dubyshkin – Lady of the Night

Maximum funky on this one. That bassline is hot.

Purient – Sagittarius

Couldn’t find this on YouTube but this has been one of my favorite songs for a while now. Love it all.
