2018 Rewind: Richard Vission

Richard Vission

How was 2018 for you?

Richard Vission: 2018 was really good for me. I had releases as a producer with some dope new talent: Skylar Stecker, Indiana Massara ft. 24hrs, Ry, Johnnie Mikel, and I produced Austin Mahone’s single “Oxygen.” I went on tour with Bad Boy Bill — ‘Vinyl vs Digital Tour’ — which will continue in 2019. It’s so much fun playing on vinyl on turntables and using CDJs. Our skills are really being tested.

Highlights?

I launched and co-produced an artist called AXSHN on APG/Atlantic records. I signed a Latin girl group that will be launching in 2019, and I signed a new producer, Loren Moore, that is the future!

Lowlights?

Not being picked to sing on The Voice. I don’t sing. and I didn’t audition but they still could have called me [laughs].

Song of the year?

Fisher – Losing It
