Weened on a steady diet of soul music, R&B, disco and funk, French Touch producer Ludovic Llorca (a.k.a. Art of Tones) made a name for himself in the late ’90s, producing a string of EPs for the mighty F Communications label. It set the stage for his full-length debut, New Comer, which sold over 200,000 units.

A lifetime of musical experiences later Llorca is about to release his new album, The Garden (Membran Group). Set for release on April 7 the LP features collaborations with Georg Levin of Berlin-based Sonar Kollektiv, Parisian soul artist Laetitia Dana, and a slew of newcomers.

We’re excited to world premiere the music video for “You,” a gorgeous soul jam featuring NYC-based vocalist Frank H. Carter III. In the clip cosmic cats are rocking out over keyboards and shooting lasers at people from their eyes, transforming people into animals from the neck up.

Kuwaiti musician Zahed Sultan, a recipient of the Exceptional Talent visa by the Arts Council of England, is a multimedia artist whose work extends across many platforms. He’s presented shows at London’s famed Barbican Centre and serves as a curator for Red Bull. Beyond that, he’s remixed the likes of Sasha and has honed a sound that spans indie rock and electronic music. We’re extremely pleased to world premiere Sultan’s brand new music video, “Cake & Butter,” a slow burning, laid-back song which encapsulates the essence of his musical POV.
