London-based dubstep DJ/producer Oliver Jones — better known to the masses as Skream — will launch IFEEL, a brand-new label this month. Instead of signing other artists and focusing on one particular style of music, the imprint will release music from any style Jones desires.

“I wanted to create a label solely for my own productions in any genre I feel like,” says Jones, who also runs Unsound Mind. “I want to bring in musical artists from across all genres that I really admire.”

Jones will unveil IFEEL’s inaugural EP, Chesters Groove, on May 21. It’s a chugging three-track techy affair featuring a pair of remixes from Berghain resident Norman Nodge.

British graffiti artist INSA is overseeing the visual identity for the label.

Gloria Gaynor, the songstress who hit pay dirt with her smash 1978 Grammy-winning anthem “I Will Survive” written by Freddie Perren and Dino Fekaris, has put her 5,318-square-foot Green Brook, New Jersey, Jeffrey Beer-designed home on the market for $1.249 million.

Situated in Central New Jersey about an hour by car from Manhattan, the two-story house was built in 1988 and is situated on a plot of land just under one acre. Gaynor bought the home in 1999 with her ex-husband and former manager, Linwood Simon.

The spacious five-bedroom abode has undergone various updates and renovations over the years. It brandishes an enclosed heated pool, a home theater with 12 reclining seats and a selection of closets.

Property taxes will set the new owner back $26,471, annually.

According to the New York Times, Gaynor, who has released 49 singles and 20 albums, including the 2019 gospel album titled Testimony, is “currently building another home in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, that has a more accessible layout and is closer to New York City.”

Ali Shirazinia — better known to the techno world by his Dubfire alias and the house music community for the history he’s made as half of Grammy-winning Deep Dish — has collaborated with nomadic U.S.-based craft brewery Stillwater Artisanal to produce Extra Loud, a limited-edition India pale saison ale brewed with sake rice.

Extra Loud is a hat trick of citra, galaxy and simcoe that clocks in at a comfortable 7 percent abv.

“Passions for gastronomy and studies in sake eventually saw us crossing paths outside of the club and teaming up,” explained Strumke — who is also a DJ/producer — on Instagram.

In related news, Boston-bred house duo Soul Clap collaborated this month on Back 2 Love with New York City brewery Finback to celebrate the release of their new full-length album, WTF (World Transformation Force), released on Fool’s Gold.

Japanese techno icon Ken Ishii has been working for several years with Tokyo-based Rise & Win Brewing.
