Prolific Berlin house DJ/producer duo Mat.Joe — Matze and Johannes — have worked hard in recent years to craft a signature style that infuses R&B and hip-hop with deep basslines and wicked grooves. In the past few weeks alone the prolific Teutonic twosome’s “Weego” was featured on Claptone’s The Masquerade compilation on Defected; they dropped their Brothers In Crime EP on Mother Recordings; and showed their techier side on their kick-ass remix of Kydus’ “Nonstop Nonsense” on Hot Trax.
