President Donald Trump and Joseph R. Biden Jr. squared off in the first presidential debate last night at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
Sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), debates are intended to serve as a vehicle for candidates to state their policy beliefs and critique their opponent before voters make their decision.
However, last night’s debate moderated by FOX News’ Chris Wallace — the first of three — was chaotic, with Wallace unable to maintain control of the proceedings.
A number of DJs took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the proceedings. The unanimous verdict? It was a shitshow.
Voters who are still undecided — how can you not know who you’re voting for at this point — should note the next two debates will take place on October 15 and October 22. One debate between the vice presidential candidates is scheduled to take place on October 7.
