YouTuber Bill McClintock has a knack for pairing songs from different genres and eras. He’s produced a slew of clever mash-ups, including Chic’s “Good Times” and Iron Maiden’s “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” to Ratt’s “Round and Round” and Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard it Through the Grapevine.”
In keeping with his modus operandi of “making old music new again,” McClintock has unveiled “Bad Mother,” a mash-up of Danzig’s 1988 heavy metal classic “Mother” with Donna Summer’s 1979 pop-disco gem “Bad Girls” produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte. Yeah, it’s weird, but it kinda works.
