Elusive, political and highly influential Detroit techno collective Underground Resistance, which formed in the late 1980s under the direction of Jeff Mills and “Mad” Mike Banks, will perform and participate in “ALLGOLD Presents: Underground – An Indefinite Community?,” a panel discussion at artist collective ALLGOLD’s residency program run by members Kevin Beasley, Inva Çota, Golnaz Esmaili and Stephen Decker on December 14, 2014 at The Print Shop at MoMA PS1 in Long Island City, NY.

A live performance and discussion by Detroit based musical collective Underground Resistance is accompanied by performances from Gen Ken Montgomery (Generations Unlimited), with Benton C Bainbridge, Andrea Beeman and Sean Julian and Charles Cohen. These performances are interspersed by discussion about underground platforms with Sohrab Mohebbi (Redcat In LA), Danna Vajda, and the volunteers of Spectacle Theater (Brooklyn). The event continues in the Print Shop with performances by Arcane Device, Unguent and Tommy Birchett.
