In July, Athens, Greece-based DJ/producer George Bakalakos (a.k.a. NTEIBINT) and fellow Athenian Matina Sous Peau presented their winsome collaboration titled “Love Is Everywhere,” a beautiful song from the vault that was written more than ten years ago.
Released on the venerable Eskimo Recordings label, the smooth, soulful and heartfelt ballad conjured — in my mind at least — hints of Everything But The Girl to Moloko.
We’re thrilled to world premiere Satin Jackets’ remix crafted by German nu-disco giant Tim Bernhardt.
Bernhardt transforms the track from downtempo jam to uptempo nu-disco anthem, all while staying within the scope of the original version. For four-and-a-half minutes, he judiciously sprinkles the right amount of funk and housey stardust on his spirited interpretation.
