On his brand new two-tracker London-based producer Robin M embarks on a captivating rhythmic journey with a secret weapon – the hang drum, an instrument introduced by Swiss couple Felix Rohner and Sabina Schärer in 2000.
We’re thrilled to world premiere the lead track “Hangdrum,” a masterpiece featuring stellar house grooves, big-bottom bass and a flowing cadence of beats.
Says Robin about the genesis of the track: “It was an amazing process making an authentic sounding hang drum work. Once discovering it was possible, the riff happened fast. I have a real love for the South African sound too. Straight away I knew where I wanted to take the record. For me the record has a lot of emotions at the same time as working in the clubs, and I hope people can hear that too.”
