Here’s a fun fact: Phonique has an astounding 500+ original tracks and remixes to his credit. The prolific Berliner turned heads in February when he presented his fourth full-length album, Green Supreme, on his Ladies & Gentlemen label. The LP espoused an impressive maturity and featured choice collaborations with vocalists Stee Downes, Alexander East and Lazarusman.

Now that his album is available for the world to enjoy, Phonique is set to release a remix EP of album cut “Something Special” featuring vocalist Ian Whitelaw, a long-time collaborator.

We’re pleased to world premiere Berlin-based Nhan Solo’s bumpin’ re-rub. On his interpretation the Mother Recordings boss paints the track with a groovy coat of funk, building on the album version’s winsome synth-fueled melodies. Either way you slice it, this track is something special.

Have a listen below, and check out the full package featuring remixes by The Black 80s, Sam Shure and Phonique himself on June 9.
