In January we introduced you to Rowan John Harrington, a DJ/producer who makes sweat-inducing techno and house under the Secondcity alias. Harrington broke through in a big way with his 2014 jam “I Wanna Feel,” which reached number-one and went gold in the UK. Since then he’s been steadily dropping bomb after bomb for labels like Saved, Suara, Toolroom and Lapus Music.
With his Music Is What Brings Us EP on Yousef’s Circus Recordings, he’s unleashed a pulsating, peak-time floor mover which we’re thrilled to world premiere.
Harrington says of the track, “This track was inspired by a lot of early house disco stuff, wanted to make something that sounded very sample-based and had that real funk and soul element you really got with a lot of early house music. This record means a lot to me and helps maybe show a little bit of where my inspirations when writing music come from.”
