The video for Burmese/Scottish producer/singer Fiona Soe Paing’s “Behrot” is as otherworldly, moody, and striking as the song it accompanies. Paing is getting set to release her debut album, Alien Lullabies, on the Colliderscope label on August 28. This track from the LP highlights not only her unconventional vocal approach but also her knack for crafting haunting, sometimes even unsettling electronic vistas.
