You’ve got to admire how Pan-Pot’s Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix are using their Second State label to nurture new talent. Most recently they issued acclaimed EPs from the wildly talented Berlin technocrat Michael Klein. Now they shine the spotlight on emerging techno DJ/producer BEC, who they established a relationship with a little more than a year ago. The Brighton born/London bred artist, who is currently based in Berlin and has been busy touring all over with the Second State crew, provides a snapshot of her buoyant sound on her upcoming Relentless EP. We’re pleased to world premiere “Nascent” from her debut tw0-track effort, a techy, funky monster brandishing bold basslines and wicked percussion.
