With each release DJ/producer Quell continues to evolve his house-techno sound, earning props along the way from stalwarts including Carl Cox, Joris Voorn and Hot Since 82. One of the Berliner’s biggest supporters is Yousef, who commissioned Quell to remix his floor mover “Let Go” featuring Kieran Fowkes. Always one to use his Circus Recordings as a platform to showcase rising talent, Yousef’s imprint will present Quell’s four-track Takes Forever EP on March 21. We’ve got the world premiere of the smooth like butter title track, a 4/4 ditty drenched with quixotic vocal samples and a relentless groove.
