How was 2018 for you?
Victor Ezcurdia: It was an amazing year full of great experiences and music. I released a lot of music and played nearly every weekend. Sounds of Earth keeps growing — we had our first two showcases outside of Mexico (ADE and Bern, Switzerland) and the feedback was overwhelming. We reached the 100th release with my label, Sounds of Earth. I feel very happy, and I want more.
Highlights?
We reached our 100th release on Sounds of Earth! I did a special compilation named Moving Forward 5 to celebrate it. We printed 200 limited-edition USB bracelets, and they are now sold-out.
Besides our SOE Showcase at ADE and Sounds of Earth party in Bern, I had very good gigs not only in Mexico but in Berlin, Montreal and Guatemala. I released music on new labels as well. My music production is getting there… I think.

Binary Finary – 1999 (Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat Remix). Amazing remix to this classic.
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
I want to play in new places where I haven´t played before and grow my label more and more. I’m ready to work and more in the studio … I would like to start thinking about my first album.
