Italian Tech-House DJ/Producer Duo NiCe7 Reveal Their 5 Jaw-Dropping Tracks of the Moment

NiCe7

NiCe7 — the Rome-based DJ/producer duo comprised of Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco — continue to push their evocative brand of tech-house forward.

A decade into their career they’ve worked hard to create a notable discography of original productions and remixes for esteemed labels like Crosstown Rebels, Snatch!, Suara, Great Stuff, and Noir. What’s more is that they’ve grown their profile while running D-FLOOR, a label they co-founded with Pirupa and Leon at the start of 2013.

Daniele and Marocco collectively kick their dark, techy sound up a notch on their awesome two-track Real Love EP, which dropped last week on Rebellion.  The title track features an infectious female vocal hook over a raw groove with tribal beats, while “To The Beat” boasts squelchy basslines and synth hooks.

Below they share five new tracks currently dominating NiCe7’s sweaty dance floors.

1. Keinemusik (Rampa, Adam Port, &ME) – Muyè (Keinemusik)
This track is a magical journey. It’s that kind of record that we personally need to create a very special moment on our sets.

2. Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons – Fly Away (Dennis Ferrer Remix) (Crosstown Rebels)
Playing this for months now, we feel there are some artists who know so well how to do a remix. Dennis Ferrer is for sure one of them, and here we have a stupendous work with a jacking groove and a monster bassline to mesmerize all dance floors!

3. Acid Mondays – Universal Rhythm (Original Mix) (R&S Records)
We’ve been fans of this label for years, and we’re happy to see Acid Mondays on it.
Latin rhythms fused with a driving Fender Rhodes lick, percolating cow bells up to hypnotic effect and spoken words create an amazing track that brings us right back between Chicago and Detroit.

4. DJ Koze – Seeing Aliens (Album Version) (Pampa Records)

We don’t need words to describe this record — it’s just amazing.
Since we played it for the first time, we felt the magical feelings that Koze is able to create in his music. He’s absolutely BIG.

5. Leon (Italy), Hector Couto feat. Tea Time – Don’t Stop (Matt Tolfrey Remix)
We started our label D-FLOOR four years ago, and we’re very very happy with it.
Matt Tolfrey delivered this killer remix of “Don’t Stop” by Hector Couto and Leon. We’ve been playing it for a while and it’s working everywhere!
