Fourward 5 Tracks of the Moment

fourward-dnb

Austrian drum ‘n’ bass outfit Fourward — Dominik Rank, Ludwig List, Lukas Roher and Niklas Bruckner — just released Expansion, a triumphant album two years in the making. The LP features 11 hard-hitting rollers and carefully crafted collaborations with East London grime MC Pep, vocalist René, Jakes, fellow countryman Mefjus, Shogun Audio label mate Icicle and label boss Friction.

We checked in with the quartet poised for world domination and asked them to share five tracks they’re living for at the moment.

1. Machinedrum ft. D∆WN – “Do It 4 U”
We love the chord progression on this one. The synths, vocals and rhythm always bring good vibes. Favorite track from his new album Human Energy.

2. Rockwell – “Out of Vogue”
Sick halftime tune from Shogun Audio labelmate Rockwell. Awsome sound design and groove. You can hear his big love for detail in this one. Crazy!

3. Fourward – “Over”
One of our favorites from our debut album Expansion. We’ve tried to introduce the listener to another side of Fourward with this track. The deeper more sensitive side of our sound.

4. Kimyan Law – Zawad (10 min album preview)
A young and upcoming artist from Austria, this album preview displays some serious talent. Great vibes and organic sounding tunes.

5. Fourward – “Sequencer”
The first album tune we came out with. A classical Fourward track. Uplifting vibe on the intro and the drop rolls fast and heavy, works so well on the dance floor.
