Video Premiere: Great White Shark – Choices (Skelesys Remix)

Great-White-Shark-Choices-Skelesys-Remix-Official-Music-Video

Great White Shark is an alternative-rock project led by David Naville, a Lausanne-born/Berlin-based composer and music/music video producer.

After the release of GWS’ Time To Be debut EP in February via M&O Music comes the provocative, visually stunning music video for “Choices” (Skelesys Remix) which we’re excited to world premiere.

Written and directed by Spanish filmmaker Christiania Krueger, the video — which has the high-quality production value of a feature film — tells the twisted story of Miguel, a fiftysomething Spanish man. Cold and distant in his physical appearance, he survived the harsh brutality of the Franco era of the early ’70s, only to become a sadistic killer in his own right.

As Miguel coldly inflicts misery on his victims without mercy, his horrific acts — all done by his own choice — tap into a wealth of thought-provoking issues, including racism, sexism and politics.

Video Premiere: Phaedru & Mandy feat. Kettra – Fugazi

Phaedru & Mandy feat. Kettra - Fugazi

Last month London-based artist Phaedru and Athenian techno producer Mandy released “Fugazi” featuring Kettra. Recorded and mixed by Endproductions Exarcheia AthensPhaedru’s flow immediately calls to mind Mike Skinner’s seminal work as The Streets. His chatty MC style is the perfect compliment to Mandy’s swinging uptempo soundscape.

Today we’re thrilled to world premiere the music video for “Fugazi” directed by Alex Stabasopoulos.

With the challenges presented by COVID-19, artists have to be creative. In this instance, the video Stabasopoulos put together is a raw multi-camera feed of “shots depicting a masked figure – an allegory of the title character of the song.”

Video Premiere: LZ7 – G.O.A.T. (Live Session)

LZ7 G.O.A.T.

Manchester-based outfit LZ7 is getting ready to unveil a selection of videos of live performances. We’re pleased to world premiere their rousing rendition of their recently issued single “G.O.A.T.”

Where some artists have performed or spun DJ sets at home during  lockdown, LZ7 comes out swinging with a full-on stage show complete with eye-catching visuals and professional lighting.

In this video directed by Pete Wall, the band cut through “G.O.A.T.” like a hot knife through butter

Says frontman Lindz about the song:

“G.O.A.T. a.k.a. greatest of all time concept came around by throwing around a shed load of hard, grime London underground influences and thinking about how we could throw something on it that picks the energy out of the atmosphere and throws it onto the dance floor. It is one of those infectious bangers that you cannot stand still to and at the same time the lyrics in the song speak for themselves about raising our purpose and dreams. If someone has ever said that you could not be the greatest of all time this song definitely smashes that statement and turns it around!”

Video Premiere: Bostock – Midnight Sinner

Bostock Midnight Sinner video premiere

UK-based producer Bostock has just released a pair of emotive house tracks, “Remembrall” / “Midnight Sinner” via Big Love. Both sonic excursions are perfect for at-home listening or whenever after-hours parties return.

We’re extremely pleased to world premiere the music video for “Midnight Sinner.”

The video opens with slo-mo, pre-pandemic footage of people dancing on a packed dance floor. No social distancing! No masks! No cares in the world!

As the deep track unfurls, washes of blue and red lights bathe the club as strobe lights pierce through the darkness.  In the end, the video reminds us of good times past and better ones to come.
