This month siblings Shermanology — Andy Sherman and Dorothy Sherman — made their stunning debut on Hot Creations by way of their Bon Bini EP. Hailing from the Dutch-Caribbean island of Curaçao and based in Amsterdam, the title of their three-track release means welcome in Papiamentu. (Fun fact: their father is singer extraordinaire Tony Sherman.)

The Shermans have been building their infectious house signature since 2009. To date, they have released on Rawthentic, Armada and Dirtybird, along the way collaborating with The Martinez Brothers.

Parisian-born DJ/producer Salomé Le Chat has been honing her mixing skills for years. Based in NYC, her carefully programmed and diverse DJ sets encompassing house, techno and disco have allowed her to share bills with big-name artists including Guy Gerber, Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus and Black Coffee.

A quadruple threat — she’s also a singer and songwriter — in August Salomé unleashed her stunning “One + One” debut on Rebellion.

“Cruising On The Playa” (Original Mix) is a funky release founded on deep pads, crisp beats, a crafty female vocal sample and frisky synth lines. F-U-N! The release includes a remix by S.A.M, who is one-third of Mandar.
