Sacai, a world renowned Japanese luxury clothing brand whose collections are sold at some of the finest stores around the world, have collaborated with Innervisions boss Dixon.
The fruit of their union is a limited-edition pair of pullovers, both of which are designed with a special graphic treatment.
Led by designer Chitose Abe (pictured above with Dixon), who began the company in 1999 after eight years of working with the Junya Watanabe collection at Comme des Garcons, Sacai’s style “reinterprets traditional silhouettes and frequently juxtaposes contrasting fabric textures to create a three-dimensional effect.”
The Berlin-based Dixon wrote on Instagram of the collab, “Every time I’m in tokyo I follow a routine. a stop at the @sacaiofficial store in aoyama is usually the start of it. that is why I’m super excited that from tomorrow on two limited sacai / togetherwedancealone pullovers will be sold there. thank you chitose abe for the opportunity to work with your team and for a peek behind the curtains at the sacai headquarters!”
