Sad news to report. Ethan White, the keyboardist and co-founder of New York City-based electronic/house/soul outfit Tortured Soul, has passed away, according to a post on the act’s Facebook page. No cause of death was provided, but a memorial fund has been established to support his wife and two children. Here is the statement the band posted in its unedited entirety:
It’s with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ethan White. Our dear friend, partner and co founder of Tortured Soul. He is survived by His Wife and two children.
