It feels like the world is spinning out of control. Thank goodness we’ve found solace in the downtempo bliss of Manatee Commune’s self-titled debut album out now on Brooklyn’s Bastard Jazz Recordings.

A one-man act led by 23-year-old Seattle-based producer Grant Eadie, his luscious tracks featuring live instrumentation (he plays the violin) run the gamut of shiny indie-pop oozing with addictive synthy melodies to charming downbeat gems.
