Boy, did these guys get lucky.

Up-and-coming Berlin via Byron Bay, Australia retro indie-pop band Parcels — Jules Crommelin, Patrick Hetherington, Noah Hill, Anatole Serret and Louie Swain — have dropped “Overnight,” a collaboration written in collaboration with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel Homem Christo of Daft Punk on Kitsuné. The track arrives after Bangalter co-produced Arcade Fire’s new album, Everything Now.

While the track’s groove and funky guitar hook riffs call to mind the helmeted French duo’s smash aforementioned global smash featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, it most certainly has its own je ne sais quoi.

Parcels are currently on tour in Europe, where they will be performing live through November.
