On Sunday afternoon Chauncey Graves (a.k.a. DJ Colossus) broke the Guinness World Record for longest non-stop DJ set. The world record was previously held by a DJ out of Nigeria who spun for 240 hours in 2016. Colossus played for an additional three hours, 56 seconds after breaking the record.

Graves’ set, which took place at a local pizzeria, extended 10 days. According to WAVE 3 he was a allowed a five-minute break for every hour he completed, drinking plenty of water and eating pizza and oranges.
Guinness will verify the results in the upcoming weeks.
