Here’s something to get excited about. George Evelyn, the guiding force behind Nightmares on Wax, has announced the upcoming release of the Ground Floor EP. The four-tracker marks his first full release for Warp Records in over four years. For the EP Evelyn looked to the past to inform his EP’s tracks. “I wanted to take things back to the basic club elements I was brought up on and how I started out as a DJ and a dancer,” he says. “I’ve spent the best part of two years on the road, and most of them back in my element as a DJ in nightclubs, so this record was inspired by me going back to my late-night house music roots.” Evelyn begins an eight-city tour North America tour on December 7 in Denver.
