On July 9 New York City’s club scene was rocked by the tragic news that Pacha New York’s Director of Promotions/Bookings Rob Fernandez had died. A mainstay on the local party circuit with global DJ connections, Fernandez touched many during his career as a party promoter. A supporter of rising talent who also had close relationships with world renown DJs, after his passing over 50 jocks unified to play the House of Rob intended to celebrate Fernandez’s family and raise money for his family.

The team behind the blowout street party held September 16 0n West 46th Street outside of Pacha New York have announced that they’ve raised over $250,000 for the Fernandez Family Trust, benefitting the family of Rob Fernandez.

Fernandez’s family issued the following statement: “We are beyond moved and brought to tears by the outpouring of support from Rob’s dance music family. The love and respect that surrounded Rob was truly felt at the Pacha benefit and we’re so proud to to be a part of his legacy. We may have lost our beloved Rob but now we are part of his global music family which is truly comforting after such a dear loss. A heartfelt thank you to all that contributed to the Fernandez Family Trust. We will be eternally grateful.”

An array of House of Rob merchandise can be purchased online and at Pacha’s upcoming tenth and final party. Proceeds from all sales go directly to support Fernandez’s family. Watch the video tribute below and get a glimpse of the all-star party that took place in September.
