With his debut album Feed The Tape now almost a year old, German composer/producer Orson Hentschel takes his music to the next level with his engaging follow-up full-length, Electric Stutter.
Where his first offering was ensconced in classical minimalism, his sophomore effort is influenced by a coterie of seminal trip-hop artists — Massive Attack, Portishead and Björk, to name a few — and electronic pop. Released today on Denovali, Electric Stutter presents another captivating chapter in this rising classically educated artist’s oeuvre.
We’re pleased to world premiere “Machine Boy” from Hentschel’s new effort. It’s a cinematic offering complete with ambient washes, symphonic strings and soft, stuttering sequences. Hit the play button below and soak it in.
