Nicolás Rada 5 Tracks Of The Moment

nicolas rada

Before the COVID-19 pandemic struck last year, Buenos Aires-based progressive house DJ/producer Nicolás Rada was on a tear. He had been racking up miles bringing his melodic progressive-house sound to clubs throughout his native Argentina as well as venues in Spain, Mexico, Hungry and The Netherlands.

Rada just dropped a rather spectacular collaboration with superstar Nick Warren titled “Dead Eyes Opened” on Nātiv Records. We checked in with the rising DJ/producer to find out his five tracks of the moment.

1. Nōpi – The Road of Babylon (Original Mix) (Do Not Sit)
I love the finesse of this track. It has a very worked melody, warm drums and harmonious pads. I think it is Nōpi’s best track.

2. Porra – Manic (The Soundgarden)
A growing producer, this excellent musician shows his abilities on this track. The arpeggiator and melodies make a harmonious combination.

3. Hraach – After Dark (Hoomidaas)
Hraach is one of my favorite producers. The name of the track reflects the super-underground groove and dark sounds. I always love his melodies. He’s an avant-garde producer.

4. Ezequiel Arias – Solar (Anjunadeep)
I think it is the best work I’ve listened to from Ezequiel. Amazing groove and powerful track on the dance floor. The sound and the technique make it magnificent.

5. Mariano Mellino feat. Paula OS – Misery (Baunder & Folgar Remix)
A lot of talent in one track; they did an excellent job. The break of the track gives Paula’s vocal special attention. A favorite to close a set.
