2019 Rewind: Fernando Lagreca

Fernando Lagreca

How was 2019 for you?
Fernando Lagreca: It was not bad. I achieved most of the objectives I planned when the year started. In the end, it was a year full of music, which is most important for me.

Highlights?
I released really nice stuff on labels I like, played in new places, met new people and things are running ok with the agency (Miracle MGMT). We expanded our scope, opening an office in Buenos Aires (Argentina) to handle bookings in Latin America and even despite some tricky issues the sun is still shining in Barcelona.

Lowlights?
Aside from the fact that people are going totally crazy with social media, the worst part of the year is still focused on the lack of communication with politicians around the globe, causing a lot of people to suffer in one way or another due to their bad decisions, mainly about basic matters such as climate, food, refugees, immigrants, etc.

Song of the year?
Coyu & Moby – “I May Be Dead, But One Day The World Will Be Beautiful Again”

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
Keep working hard, release an album (it is already scheduled for the first semester), play as much as possible and at good festivals and events, and expect really good tunes for the new decade. I’m excited to check what will be the sound of the upcoming year!
