Miss Melera 5 Tracks of the Moment

Miss Melera

Amsterdam-based tech-house DJ/producer Miss Melera brings her deep, techy vibes to Full Spectrum on Saturday, February 23, an event presented by Caravan Gitane and House of Yes at 99 Scott in Brooklyn, NY.

Topping the bill is Max Cooper, whose immersive live show supports his acclaimed One Hundred Billion Sparks album. His follow-up release is One Hundred Billion Sparks Remixed on March 21, featuring contributions from Roly Porter, Barker, Synkro, Parra For Cuva, Robag Wruhme, DJ Tennis & Barratt, Wilderthorn, Indian Wells, Llyr, Dave DK, Etapp Kyle, Acid Pauli and Poppy Ackroyd.

We connected with the globetrotting Miss Melera, who helms the Colourizon radio show/events series, ahead of her much-anticipated DJ set, and asked her to wax poetic about her favorite dance floor jams.

Hot Tuneik – Somewhere in Hannah

This one is just released and again great work from Hot Tuneik. Harmonious, warm melodies with an instrumental touch. Perfect track to open my sets.

Claptone, Katie Stelmanis – La Esperanza (Patrice Bäumel Remix)

I love how Patrice creates a story in just one track. The build-up is so good and it takes you on a wonderful trip.

Alan Fitzpatrick – Together Until the End

This track doesn’t fit always in my sets but I’m listening to it so often and I’m never tired of it. I can’t get enough of the deep melody. It’s very subtle and sensitive but with a raw beat.

Khen – Pecas

The label Lost & Found always brings quality, and Khen only drops top stuff. I’m currently playing this track in almost every one of my sets. It’s got the prefect steady groove to suit every moment.

Ezequiel Arias – Passenger

I’ve had many good memories with this one. I played it during my Colourizon evening at Amsterdam Dance Event last year. It’s a serious banger with a long melodic break and the groove afterwards holds the energy very well.
