2018 Rewind: Tommy Capretto

Tommy Capretto

How was 2018 for you?

Tommy Capretto: My 2018 was a good year. Had three releases that did pretty well.

Highlights?

“Don’t Be a Dick” which was released on my own label as well as “This is a Rave” on Juicy music (Robbie Rivera’s label) and “Burnin up” on HoTL Records (David Tort and Markem’s label). Did yet another remix that got picked up by Capitol Records and even went to L.A. to tour their incredible building. I could be here all day talking about the things I’ve been doing or trying to make happen this year.

Lowlights?

I honestly can’t say there have been any lowlights! Things have just really been working out. I’m always working and striving. Hardly ever take a few days to relax. My management is so good at staying on top of me to make sure things get done on my end.

Song of the year?

My favorite song this year. That’s tough. Honestly there are so many, but if I had to choose based off of what I’ve been playing in my sets it would be Honey Dijon’s “Personal Slave” (Harry Romero Mix). It’s consistently made my sets this year. Love it.

What’s your New Year’s resolution?

To be a little bit more patient. Patience is something I lack. I’m the kind of guy that likes to get things done right away. And I don’t like waiting on things. But this year I will try harder for sure!
