2018 Rewind: Bryan Chapman

Bryan-Chapman

How was 2018 for you?

Bryan Chapman: It was good thanks. I put some more release’s out on my label, Monotony, that I’m very proud to have released and be a part of the label’s catalog.

Highlights?

My debut album being released was the highlight for sure. Mixmag named it their album of the month for October which was a proud honor.

Lowlights?

I wasn’t able to write as much new music as I would have liked due to some health issues. Thankfully that’s all sorted and I’m back to full health again.

Song of the year?

Donato Dozzy – Cleo. Dozzy stated he wrote the track with the intention of never releasing or even playing it out. So the fact it exists in the world for people to play and download adds to the beauty of this track.

What’s your New Year’s resolution?

To keep evolving and improving as not only a producer but as a human as well. Writing a lot more new music is the plan due to this years restrictions and keep growing my Monotony label.
