2017 Rewind: La Louma

La Louma

How was 2017 for you?
La Louma: 2017 has been the best year of my life so far. I know more, I have greater perspective, and my sense of curiosity and gratitude have both heightened, and thus my experiences and relationships have become more and more meaningful. From the big once-in-a-lifetime milestones to the tiny details of everyday life, I see reality with increased clarity and am thankful for every minute of it.

Highlights?
Seeing Stonehenge
Going to Finland
Moderating a panel at Treefort Music Fest
Managing the tent for THIS IS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE at Bonnaroo

Hosting my teacher Ven. Robina Courtin for a weekend of teachings in LA
Befriending Allee Willis and nerding out about The Color Purple the musical for hours and hours
Working with several incredible directors on my first few music videos

Attending the SF premiere of Nobody Dies, a documentary film about Thao Nguyen
Spontaneously driving from LA to Idaho at the last-minute to see the eclipse
