How was 2017 for you?
Mr. V: Lost many childhood memories and friends and the music moved on a bit in terms of creativity, changed scenery which is always awesome & gained a new girlfriend who is Mexican so now the guacamole is FREE so it started off wack then ended AWESOME.
Highlights?
Extra guac is free now. Collaborated with a slew of talent like Low Steppa, Jay Kutz, Greco (NYC), Crystal Waters, Reelsoul, David Eaton and so many others. Moving to San Francisco; finding out I’m partially West African; going to ADE and seeing all of my friends I haven’t seen in ages; seeing the progression of real house music flourish with help from Black Coffee, Kenny Dope, Roger Sanchez, etc.
Lowlights?
Seeing the rise of Donald Trump, losing so many iconic musicians and seeing racism reveal itself and how hugely popular it is.
