Bosnian technocrat Mladen Tomic came to our attention earlier this year via his raucous track “Riffs,” which appeared on Cookies Vol. 4 issued on Monika Kruse’s Terminal M.
Tomic has actually been in the mix for quite some time, co-founding Night Light Records and releasing wonderful techno tracks on Sci + Tec, Suara, Definitive Recordings, 1605, Octopus, 100% Pure, Deeperfect, and Stereo Productions. He’s also remixed for the likes of Mauro Picotto, Sébastian Léger, Cristian Varela, Stefano Noferini, Chus & Ceballos, and ANNA.
He recently brought his deft production skills to M.in’s My Favourite Freaks imprint by way of his Hot Moog EP, a a trio of hard-hitting tracks that display three many sides of his musical personality.

As he embarks on a busy summer filled with DJ gigs, a release on The Plot Music, and an appearance on the Happy Techno Sonar sampler, Tomic shares five tracks that are current staples of his DJ sets.
&Lez – Colybri (Paco Osuna Remix) (Mindshake Records)
I fell in love with this track after the first listen. Super cool groove, smooth acid melody and amazing vocal. It rocks the dance floor every time.
Andres Campo – Blind (Pig & Dan Remix) (Mood Records)
I like the bassline, and the percussion and melodies are perfectly arranged. There is some funky moments in the bass, but the kick is heavy.
Sinisa Tamamovic – Move Me (Original Mix) (Tronic)
For me this is one of the best Sinisa’s tracks this year. A great groove, refreshed with amazing melody and the vocal in the breakdown. His vocal makes things more interesting and works perfectly on the dance floor.
Mladen Tomic – Digitalism (Original Mix) (My Favourite Freaks)
My new track with my typical sound, maybe a little bit darker than usual. A strong bassline, short synth moments, a trippy melody and short vocals. I enjoy every time I play it.
Juan DDD, Celic – We Are In The Same Galaxy (Original Mix) (Night Light Records)
These guys have delivered some great tracks lately. When I got this track as a demo from Night Light, I was totally amazed. Great powerful sound; the bassline together with kick is so fat. The track has a lot of great moments.
