Luca Guerrieri’s 5 Producers of the Moment

Luca_Guerrieri

Italian house DJ/producer Luca Guerreri has been making dance floors sweat since 2000. For the past decade and a half he’s steadily grown his career, along the way becoming a resident at Tartana Club in Tuscany and remixing for Bob Sinclar, Crystal Waters, Jutty Ranx and Ruffneck. After finding wider success last year with “Harmony” issued on his D:Vision label, Guereri returns this month with his infectious new cut “Destino.” Stuffed with undulating bass, scintillating strings and a nonstop groove, the release will be followed by a spate of productions and remixes for Dirty Vegas, Relentless Records and Polydor Records. We checked in with the emerging Guerreri and asked him to talk about five producers he currently admires.

Luca Guerrieri’s “Destino” is released January 11 on DVS Records.

1. Coyu
Coyu is my favorite producer at the moment and every week one of his productions or one of his Suara releases is present in my Mixtape Radio Show. He finds the perfect fusion between house music and dark atmospheres.

2. Riva Starr
He makes music for lovers of good tech-house music. Riva’s groove turns every track into a perfect tool for the club. Simple and always with style!

3. Nora En Pure
I love piano, violins and all the romantic and epic atmospheres that come together in rhythmic house. Nora en Pure is one of the best producers I know who makes this amazing sound.

4. FreakMe
I only recently discovered this artist, but I’m in love with his style. He puts electronic, dark and romantic genres in a perfect club mood. He is also Italian and his sound raises the average of all of us Italians.

5. Will Clarke
Aggressive and groovy, fresh and mellow, I really love the way Will uses effects and automation. When I play his tracks on my show or in a club set, people always come and ask me the name of them and this is really a good thing!
