Kissy Sell Out’s 5 Tracks of the Moment

KISSY-SELL-OUT

Kissy Sell Out is one of the nicest DJ/producers we’ve crossed paths with over the years. Passionate about his music and always pushing the musical envelope both as an artist and head of San City High Records, his talent, motivation and positivity are evident on each new artistic endeavor.

After recently holding a remix contest with Beatport for his track “Give Me Your Hand” and working with his mate MC Cobra on his house monster “Turn It On” featuring Dillon Francis on remix duties (watch the video for the track here), the London-based mixer is setting his sights on North America with an upcoming club tour kicking off in the fall.

Amid a summer filled with DJ dates at top parties all over the globe and new music on the horizon, we connected with Kissy and asked him to wax poetic about five fresh tracks currently on his radar.

Check out the ninth edition of Kissy’s House Party on Pioneer DJ Radio here.

1. Sylent Efx – “Rocka”
Just a damn good tune, and it’s a free download too!

2. Billie Black – “Simple Pleasure”
Absolutely love this track. No sooner had I heard this, than I’d already done a special Kissy DJ edit for my sets and radio show. A name to keep an eye on.

3. Sirmo – “Lighters Up”
Sirmo is a new UK name worth remembering! Like a true gentleman, he sent me his entire back catalogue a few weeks ago, and I was buzzing when I realized how talented he was.

4. Maximono – “Bounce”
A typical banger from This Ain’t Bristol. This new label collective has real fine taste and a very intimidating roster of names in the family. They also pump out guest mixes and compilation albums seemingly non-stop!

5. Marcus Jakes feat Vanity – “Time”
Track one from my San City High label compilation that came out earlier this year. Marcus Jakes is a very underrated guy.
