Madonna is 54 years old young today. Instead of writing a lengthy tribute about the impact she’s made on pop culture and dance music, we thought we’d revisit Junior Vasquez‘s ’90s club track “If Madonna Calls.” The story goes that Vasquez crafted the track after having a row with her in 1996. Taking a message Madge left on his answering machine, Vasquez produced one of his best (and bitchiest) tracks of his storied career. Go figure. Happy birthday, Madge!
