Attentive readers of Big Shot will remember our video premiere of “Tesseract (NO SKIN Remix)” from Birmingham, U.K.-based trip-hop/electronica/rock quartet FABRIK from last May.
After their song “Black Lake” was used on the Hulu drama series Light as a Feather, the band gained a following in the U.S. Despite having never traveled to the States, their upcoming sophomore album was crowdfunded by American fans. The result of their fans’ goodwill is their second full-length, Impermanence, on July 10.
We’re thrilled to world premiere the visually stunning music video for “Everest” — a title which borrows the name of the highest mountain in the world — edited by vocalist Hayley Trower.
The video opens with a first-person view soaring through the clouds. As the song unfurls we’re introduced to breathtaking scenes of natural beauty — snowcapped mountains and glaciers to a sun-soaked forest and starry night. Taking in the smoldering downtempo track and captivating imagery will give your goosebumps goosebumps.
