Jessy Lanza Eyes North American Headlining Tour to Support ‘Oh No’

Fresh from supporting Junior Boys in Europe and North America, Jessy Lanza has announced an upcoming headlining tour to support her sophomore album, Oh No, the follow-up to her acclaimed debut Pull My Hair Back, out May 13th on Hyperdub. The 22-date run commencing on June 15 at Crofoot Ballroom in Pontiac, MI will feature Teklife artist DJ Taye.

Produced in Lanza’s hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, Oh No was realized with production partner Jeremy Greenspan from Junior Boys. Lanza recently dropped a hot video for the electro-charged lead track “It Means I Love You” directed by John Smith brandishing frenetic synth-funk rhythms and pitched-up vocals. The equally as enticing second single “VV Violence” can be heard below. Both tracks hint at what could be one of 2016’s best bass music albums.
