Eclectic Los Angeles-based electronic four-piece UNA — Richard Larsen (keyboards, guitar, mandocello), Jennifer Nice (singer), Scott Eric Olivier (synths, guitar, drums) and Eddie Barajas (turntables, whistle) — have been steadfastly refining their boundless downtempo electronica sound since forming in 2006. With a string of EPs and a full-length album to their credit, the foursome will present their latest release effort, the Hiss for the Fly: A Common Apocalyptic Survival Guide EP, on March 22 via Cool Jewel Records. We’ve got the world premiere of the EP featuring four striking new songs along with remixes by Charles Webster and Mystery Skulls. Hit the play button below, and we think you’ll agree it’s a pretty fly release.
I like this direction/amalgamation of sounds …Heal Him Now is up there with the unreleased Nature Boy … for me ….. Wish you had some live drums ….but dig the percussion …
