Paul van Dyk is expected to make a full recovery after falling off a stage during his DJ set at Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT 750 in Utrecht. On PvD’s Facebook page his team thanked fans for their support and said the German trance titan’s prognosis is looking good. “We’d like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for everyone’s overwhelming support for PvD this past week. We have very good news to report as Paul is fully conscious and now under normal care. Paul did sustain a concussion and cracked vertebrae. Though he must remain under hospital care while his condition improves, we expect Paul to recover fully from his injuries. PvD deeply appreciates your support and looks forward to touring again as soon as possible.” Van Buuren’s ASOT page shared the post, adding, “We are glad to share this update about Paul van Dyk. We wish you a quick recovery Paul! All the best!”
Details of the circumstances that led van Dyk to fall from the stage have yet to be made public and is likely the focus of an insurance investigation. But for now the good news is that van Dyk is on the mend and could be back in action behind the decks in the foreseeable future.
