Legendary German trance DJ/producer Paul van Dyk has been hospitalized after falling off a stage during his DJ set at Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT 750 in Utrecht. In the video below Van Buuren addressed the crowd about the incident. “I know you’ve all been waiting and wondering what’s going on, and I want to clear some things up. Tonight Paul van Dyk fell…he’s on his way to the hospital.” Out of respect for van Dyk performances on the main stage — including Van Buuren’s set — were canceled although performances continued elsewhere at the event. Van Buuren added, “I hope you guys understand that I’m not in the mood right now to play my set right now…we wish Paul well.” Neither Van Dyk or his management have posted an update on his condition on social media. This is a developing story and we’ll update as we learn more.

As you know there was an accident last night causing Paul to fall from an elevated festival stage. Paul is currently in the hospital.
