Carl Craig & Basic Channel’s Moritz von Oswald Prep ‘Attenuator’ Collaboration

Here’s something to get excited about. Detroit’s Carl Craig and Berlin’s Moritz von Oswald of Basic Channel fame have announced the upcoming release of their “Attenuator” collaboration. The double-sided single featuring both artist’s version of the track will drop on October 23, 200 via Craig’s Planet E Communications.

“Attenuator” is the first release from a series of studio sessions in Berlin and Detroit over the past two years. More material will be released at a later date.

The pair’s previous collaborations include 2008’s Recomposed, a rework of two popular classical music pieces, Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures from an Exhibition (1874) and Maurice Ravel’s Boléro (1928).
