How was 2017 for you?
Intense and exciting, full of activities and opportunities we’ve been planning and working toward for a long time.
Highlights?
Two main highlights stand out for us. 2017 already started out great in January when we played with a full big band. What an experience! And then of course in October, we released our first full length album, Kosmopop. We’ve been working on it for two years, so it’s a highlight that shines well beyond 2017 for us.
Lowlights?
Must be politics! Nationalism, fascism, extremism, hate and fear … too much to even get started properly here.
Song of the year?
We’re a duo, so we have two songs:
LCD Soundsystem – “Tonite”
Geoff Berner – “Hustle Advisory”
What’s your New Year’s resolution?
We like to take on many things simultaneously. Here are a few for 2018:
– play tons of shows
– spread the love
– invent new sounds
– terraform Mars
