2017 Rewind: Kunzima Theology

Kunzima Theology

How was your 2017?
Kunzima Theology: 2017 was a year of real ups and downs, having to go through most difficult challenges as a young musician but with God’s grace I managed to overcome and move forward.

Highlights?
When I did a special feature for Superbalist.com (out in Cape Town), having a remix nominated for best remix of the year 2017 for the Dance Music Awards (South Africa) which Black Coffee played on his 2017 European tour and plugging it on his 2017 Ibiza Appreciation mix. Oh, and dropping a compilation for Surreal Sounds Music titled Surreal Selections Vol. 1.5 dropping December 5th (worldwide release) and releasing Red9’s Intracity EP out on Dopewax Records, which did quite well online.

Lowlights?
Not having to go out and play my music a lot just to see how people receive it? But God got me I know.

Song of the year?
Rampa – “Bimma”

What’s your New Year’s resolution?
I would love to see myself working a lot on vocal projects next year, getting more involved in the creation, enjoying life, growing out of South Africa, hopefully going to ADE 2018 and spreading love across.
