After Montreal-based techno DJ/producer Johnny Trika was taken under Dubfire‘s wing a few years ago, big things began to happen.
Influenced by Richie Hawtin, Trentemøller, Gaiser and Recondite, he’s subsuently earned an international fanbase by way of his releases on SCI+TEC and transformative live sets featuring all-original material.
Trika will perform live in Brooklyn, NY for Risky Business Presents Check Your Pants At The Door over New Year’s weekend. Since this time of the year tends to skew toward amateur hour, the party will serve as an oasis for those wanting to hear proper techno.
